Movie Review: American Psycho

American Psycho is the story of a 27 year old big time CEO who gets fed up with all the 'yuppie scum' and fancy restruants and goes on a killing spree. It reminded me a lot of Fight Club in the sense that the main character narrates his yuppie corporate life and all the brand name facial masks and things he uses. Like in Fight Club, he eventually gets tired of all of this superficial bullshit and can't stand it anymore, so he relies on destruction to make him feel whole again. The movie is obviously a black comedy (not like Fresh Prince, but rather a dark comedy) and a lot of scenes are funny. I especially like the business card competitions.
