If you are one of those few people who really still believe in crazy things like women's rights, democracy, minority rights, freedom and peace, then I highly recommend learning getting involved in socialism. The Socialist Worker is a free online magazine that provides new information weekly. That would be a good place to start. Also, Haymarket Books is a great independant book store that provides inexpensive books and pamphlets on Marxism, Socialism and Radicalism.
Socialism is NOT the same as Communism, although Reagan would like you to think so. There are similarities between the two, but they are not the same. If you are still scared because the TV tells you to hate people that oppose extreme capitalism/feudalism, just remember this quote from Michael Parenti:
The threat that Communism may someday take over the world blinds us to the fact that anti-Communism already has*
*If you don't understand that quote, then read up my son, read up.
